Rockwater, Hove
Our Client acquired the existing seafront building and undertook extensive renovation work which included the formation of a new roof terrace enclosure.
Our involvement was to form stair and lift access to the new roof terrace and to ensure the new roof construction was adequately supported on the existing structure.
Private Dwelling, London
High end residential development in central London involving a full refurbishment and alterations of the existing building including a rear extension and sunken terrace.
Due to the internal alterations extensive strengthening works had to be carried out on the existing timber floors and a new structural box frame was required at lower ground floor level to support the wall over. The sunken terrace was formed by installing an insitu cast 'pink' concrete splayed wall on designed permanent formwork.
Reigate College
We are currently undertaking works to the existing Refectory Building involving the installation of a new mezzanine floor.
Here the key constraints was to ensure the new mezzanine floor and lifting of the exitsing truss roof could be carried out to suit the College's operation.
New lattice trusses were used for the mezzanine floor to minimise weight and aid installation between the existing columns.
